External painting & decorating
Render, masonry, windows, doors and fascias, repaired and protected so your home looks sharp from the street.

Prepared properly, finished by hand
Outside work has to stand up to the British weather, so preparation matters even more. We wash down, scrape back loose and flaking paint, and repair surfaces before painting.
Rotten or damaged timber on windows, sills and doors can often be saved with two-part timber resin repairs rather than replacement. Once sound, timber is primed, undercoated and finished in a weather-resistant top coat.
We paint render and masonry, fascias and soffits, wooden windows and front doors, garden walls and outbuildings.

External painting & decorating: common questions
When is the best time for exterior painting?
Late spring to early autumn, when it's dry and above about 8°C. We watch the forecast and plan around rain so the paint can cure properly.
Can you repair rotten window frames?
Often, yes. Small to medium areas of rot can be cut out and rebuilt with timber resin, then sanded and painted. We'll tell you honestly if a section needs replacing.
Do you need scaffolding?
Most two-storey houses can be done from ladders and towers. Where scaffolding is needed, we arrange it and include it in the quote.
