Prepared properly, finished by hand
Painting your existing kitchen is one of the most cost-effective ways to transform a room. Solid doors and frames usually outlast their colour, and a careful repaint gives them years more life at a fraction of the cost of a new kitchen.
Every unit is cleaned and degreased, lightly sanded, repaired where needed and primed with a bonding primer before the top coats go on. Doors and drawer fronts can be taken away and sprayed for a factory-smooth finish, while carcasses, islands and end panels are painted in place by hand.
We also paint fitted cupboards, built-in wardrobes and media-wall cabinetry, so the joinery throughout your home can match.

Kitchen & cabinet painting: common questions
Will painted kitchen cabinets last?
Yes, when they are prepared properly. Cleaning, keying the surface and using a bonding primer under a hard-wearing finish is what stops paint chipping on doors that are opened every day.
Can you paint wooden or veneered units?
Most solid wood, MDF and veneered units can be painted. High-gloss laminate and vinyl-wrapped doors need a specialist primer, so we check them during the quote visit.
Do you spray or brush?
Both. Removable doors and drawer fronts are often sprayed off-site for the smoothest finish; fixed units are painted by hand on site.
How long will my kitchen be out of action?
Usually a few days for a standard kitchen. We plan the work so you can keep using the room as much as possible.
